(More customer reviews)Purchased this primarily for temperature and barometric measurement. It would have been more useful if it also measured humidity (on either device). The compass is a nice added feature, but not something I really need.
I like the fact that it is small and portable, and easy to read.
The thermometer feature is good, but not the most accureate. The barometer reads all over the place, which in turn affects the usefulness of the barometric altimeter (which is not that useful). If I were to actually try to use it, I would say my altitude changes daily by up to 100 feet in the same place. To be fair, the instructions did say to recalibrate the altitude whenever possible and before going on trips, then it works, but still not all too useful not to mention it is'ntt always easy to find known altitudes to calibrate it at.
The wind speed indicator is fun to play with, but it is not very accurate
(the 2 mph tolerance can seem like a big difference.) I think that the compass function would be more useful in the wind speed indicator to tell you which direction the wind is coming from.
It also does not keep time very well, it is already 3 minutes fast just 2 weeks after setting it.
I am sure somebody would find the combination of features useful, and for the price it is fun to just play around with. I could not give the highest rating because it is not accurate enough for serious measurement and a also because I find myself calibrating and tweaking the settings more than actually using it.
