(More customer reviews)We have had this sensor and a base for almost 2 years without problem and find it to be very accurate. Recently, the temperature for the sensor stopped displaying on the base and we tried everything to no avail. Turns out this happens when the batteries in the BASE get low. The base was still working for all other readings and the battery indicator appeared to have 1/3 of the battery left- but the batteries were too low to receive the sensor signal. Replace the batteries in the BASE (we had already replaced the one in the sensor when troubleshooting) and it will work!
