While shopping for a weather stations for me, I realized it would also be the perfect gift for him. Like father like son....if I would like it so would he.
The kit comes with everything you need to set it up, including batteries. I also like the feature of downloading information to my computer. The price is very reasonable for what you're getting. I like the flexability of mounting the various sensors in different locations. You can also expand or replace sensors as desired or needed.
