(More customer reviews)This gauge measures fairly accurately. We recently had around 3 inches of rainfall in our area. We had this gauge as well as a rather sophisticated standard rain gauge, both sitting on our patio table. The standard rain gauge measured 2.88 inches of rainfall while the Ambient gauge measured 2.92 inches. It is so nice and convenient to be able to read the amount of rainfall indoors on an easy-to-read digital device without having to go outside and eyeball and figure out the measurement. Worth the money.
