(More customer reviews)I bought this 'Professional' weather station less than a year ago, and it started failing within 4 months. I installed the exterior units and sending unit on the other side of the wall from the receiving unit, 3 feet from the base. I wrote to customer service at La Crosse and got no response. Within a couple months, all of the exterior instruments failed, it was not bad batteries, a dirty connection or some exterior event impacting the system; IT JUST PLAIN CRAPPED OUT!
I twice contacted the company, with no response at all, not even even a bad response, nothing, totally ignored me. I spent a fair amount of money getting what was sold as a refined and capable system, but it was just junk. I even asked if I could purchase a new portion of the system if they could direct me towards finding out what it was, no response. Using the manual I tried and retried to reset the unit as specified resulted in nothing, a waste of time and money.
Bottom line, I do not suggest buying anything from this company La Crosse Technology because you are throwing your money away!
