(More customer reviews)I purchased the WD-2513U weather station and the tx60u-it as an add - on. I am using it to primarily monitor the refrigerator temperature. The temperature probe is accurate within a couple of degrees.
The tx60u-it transmits the temperature to a website (no cost) at intervals I select, from every two minutes to every 20 minutes. (2, 5, 10 or 20 minutes)
I read a couple of other reviews that blasted the accuracy of the tx60u-it. I have had no issues setting it up. I am ordering one more tx60u-it for the garage refrigerator.
Update 08-13-2010: I am now using two of these to monitor the temperatures of two refrigerators. The circuit breaker in the garage refridge popped. The alert feature sent me an email and text message when the temperature rose above the temperature that I set. This feature has saved me. I have had no issues with these units and would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or family member.
The only negative is that I will have to pay for the website hosting the alert/monitoring after the first year. It's not expensive, but I will have to decide then whether to pay for the service or not next year.
