* It works as a clock, but not an alarm clock. I'm a very light sleeper, but I do not wake up from the quiet alarm on this device. Ironically, the beep from pressing the buttons is louder than the alarm ring - go figure.
* The compass just plain does not work. I literally had to recalibrate it several times a day. If I move even a mile, it stops working.
* The temperature reading is incorrect. This might not be due to any fault of the device, but unless you keep it outside your body away from body heat, and away from sun and sunlight, it will not show the correct temperature. So it's a pretty pointless feature.
* I didn't buy this device for the barometer & altimeter. I figured those would never be accurate anyway. I was still surprised when the barometer, freshly calibrated in the morning to reflect the sunny weather, would signal rain in the afternoon - even though it was still sunny with hardly a cloud in the sky.
* The LCD screen is very soft plastic, and will get scratched badly within days of use.
