(More customer reviews)I am very pleased with this. I bought it to replace a weather station made by La Cross. My discomfort with the La Cross unit was that the remote would transmit and update the temperature every 4 seconds, so batteries only lasted about 2 1/2 months. Then the unit had to be completely reprogrammed when the remote batteries were changed. It also did not have a display/sensor for humidity. The remote for the Ambient Weather station will transmit once per minute, which is quite adequate. I have had my unit for a month, during which time it has performed perfectly. It displays the time, indoor and outdoor temperature, and outdoor humidity, so setup is quick and simple. They claim battery life is about 2 years in both display and remote.
