I was originally given the WS-9023 Weather Station as a gift (with this single sensor). I have since bought two more sensors through Amazon for use with the system. First, all units sitting side by side give the same readings within 0.1 °F (all emperiments should be repeatable...they should fail in exactly the same way). In addition, I have an airport with a reporting weather station less than 0.5 miles away and have found that the readings I get are very close to what the local airport weather station reports.
Unlike other experiences with battery life, my experience with battery life have been outstanding. Anticipating that I would have to periodically replace the batteries in all units on a reasonably frequent basis, I used rechargeable batteries in all units. That was July 2008 and they are still running on their original charge. But battery manufacturer apparently does make a difference, given the various rechargeable batteries that I uae. I have one unit mounted outside, one upstairs and one downstairs in the house. Range of signal does not seem to be an issue for me at least around the house.
As a practical limit, the electronic hygrometer can only read as high as 89.1% even in a zero visibility fog.
Very pleased with the performance overall.
