(More customer reviews)The transmitter did not work on the first unit ordered. The second unit would receive the outside temperature only intermitently, even when the transmitter was next to the display. I purchased it as a gift for an older person that cannot see well or change batteries. If this had worked consistently it would have been a good gift. The good news is that Amazon made returning them hassle free.
