(More customer reviews)I bought this as a handy indoor/outdoor temp and humidity device. Both the indoor and outdoor humidity read low when I got it. So I placed them in the bathroom and let the shower run hot for 20 min. and let the devices sit in the steamy bathroom for over an hour. I repeated this process several times. The outdoor sensor responded and recovered a little. The indoor sensor never did. After being outdoors for a while the outdoor sensor is still nearly 10% low. The indoor sensor is at least 10% low. I have had other Acu Rite humidity sensors and had the same problem. I also have several LaCrosse/Weather Channel devices and a Springfield device that all read within 1% of each other and were accurate right out of the box.
