(More customer reviews)I live in a rural area, so in order to get the forecast I would have to log on to the computer or wait for the nightly news. My weather station solved this issue for me. I am easily able to view the weather for today and the next three days. I have found the forecasts to be pretty accurate. The only aspect I would call into question is the accuracy of the wind speeds, but the wind gusts seem about right. Other issues I noticed is that the unit does not appear cabable of being hung on a wall, you need to push a button to get the current outdoor forecast and the unit you put outdoors is not waterproof. I found a convenient space to put the outdoor unit where it will stay dry, but this may not be an option for everyone. However, I really appreciate the option to have weather alerts sent to the unit (free option for one year). Since we live in a rural area, there is a good chance that we would not receive severe weather warnings from the television or hear sirens from town. Overall, I love my weather station and I am surprised at how often I look at it and have already begun to rely on it.

In addition to your standard location, Weather Direct allows you to monitor four more forecast locations on your wireless display, for a total of five.
